Bavarian Run (July 28, 2024)

Go a step further than simply watching a game and take part in the annual Bavarian Run. The exhilarating events held annually in Munich offer participants the chance to run through the iconic Olympic Park while enjoying the breathtaking views of Munich’s skyline. 

With multiple distance options, from 5K, 10K, to 15K, this race allows you to choose one that suits your fitness level. This is a great way to refresh and be part of a community-centred event — all while getting some exercise! Registration is open to the general public so anyone can join for a small entry fee of €21 for the 5K race, €27 for the 10K, and €29 for 15K. Young people after January 1, 2008 can enter for a discounted fee of €15 for any of the races.

Munich Marathon (October 13, 2024)

Starkbierfest (March 11 - 24, 2024)

The festival of strong beer in Nockherberg, Munich is a fun and hearty celebration of the Bavarian beer culture. Lots of delicious strong beer is consumed while people enjoy music, exchange stories, and share a laugh.

The celebration of hearty brews and camaraderie is the perfect place to meet new friends and catch up with old ones. Held at the historic Paulaner Bräuhaus on Nockherberg, the festival features a variety of strong beers, traditional Bavarian food, and live music.
