The Tollwood Winter Festival turns Munich’s Theresienwiese into a colourful winter world filled with culture, music, crafts and international food. With glowing tent roofs, sparkling sculptures and the much-loved “Market of Ideas”, the festival offers an alternative Christmas atmosphere with a creative, sustainable spirit. What makes Tollwood special is its mix of festive charm, live performances, walk acts, environmental awareness and organic-certified gastronomy. Many parts of the festival are free to enjoy, while selected shows in the Grand Chapiteau and the New Year’s Eve party require tickets.
