Theatron 2026: Polar Noir, Oke & Cousines like Shit
A richly varied summer evening of shimmering dream-pop, boundary-crossing electro-soul and delightfully offbeat avant-trash. Polar Noir opens with atmospheric songs blending shoegaze, wave and pop, inspired by water, nature and wider social questions. Oke brings together African soul, electronic pop and cinematic storytelling in a deeply personal musical world centred on identity, freedom and self-discovery. Cousines like Shit close the concert programme with witty, distinctive indie rock, catchy melodies and their unmistakable “Avant Trash” style. Afterwards, Medienzentrum München presents a short-film programme from Munich’s emerging filmmaking scene.
