Theatron 2026: new basement Showcase
The new basement Showcase brings fresh independent sounds and young Munich film talent to the lakeside stage at Olympiapark. Community-driven DIY label new basement presents four exciting acts: Hase, Hospital Meat, Laundromat Chicks and KONOMONO, moving from uncompromising punk and raw rock ’n’ roll to jangly indie-rock, krautrock and shoegaze. Afterwards, Medienzentrum München presents highlights from the flimmern&rauschen 2026 short-film festival. An eclectic open-air evening for anyone keen to discover emerging music, creative connections and Munich’s local cultural scene.
